An open storage cube in solid white oak, built by hand in our Vancouver workshop. It's designed to fit our modular storage system, but it also works on its own as an open box on a shelf, desk or dresser. White oak is a pale, golden tan hardwood with a tighter grain than red oak, and it's slightly harder.

It measures 14 in wide × 11 in high × 11.5 in deep (36 × 28 × 29 cm) and weighs about 10 lb (5 kg), with an interior of about 12.5 × 10 × 10 in (32 × 25 × 25 cm).

It's made from solid white oak from North American mills, with no MDF, plywood or veneer, and the bottom is lined with high-density wool felt so it won't scratch the shelf beneath it. We finish it with Rubio Monocoat, a natural, non-toxic hardwax oil that protects the wood and brings out its grain and colour, and if it ever picks up a mark, you can touch up just that spot.

We make it to order in 4–6 weeks, or 6–8 weeks for a custom size, and ship it free across Canada and the US. It comes with our 5 year warranty and 30 day return policy.
