Shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping on 80" long or shorter coffee tables is free within Canada and the United States.
Longer tables will incur an additional shipping charge which will depend on the size of the table and shipping location.
How long will it take to receive my custom coffee table?
We build all coffee tables by hand in Vancouver and aim to deliver them within 6 - 8 weeks
What kind of assembly is required?
The legs are attached to the table top via a mortise and tenon joints, reinforced with wood glue. It should take you no more than 10 minutes to fasten the legs to the tabletop and we provide everything you need.
Do I need to be home?
We ship our tables via UPS, FedEx and Canada Post and therefore you will not need to be home to accept delivery.
However, if you'd like to require a signature to accept the table, please indicate so when placing your order.

Where are the custom coffee tables built?
All of our custom coffee tables are built out of our Vancouver, BC workshop
Can I see your coffee tables in person?
You're welcome to visit our Vancouver workshop, near Triumph and Victoria, to see any piece we're working on. Please message us at hello@ombahome.com to schedule a visit.
Alternatively, you can order wood samples.
What kind of wood is used in the table?
The entire table, top and legs, is made out of solid wood. You can choose from one of 3 North American hardwoods: walnut, red oak or white oak
What kind of finish is used?
We use a GREENGUARD Gold certified finish which is food safe and non-toxic. You can read more about the finish's certifications here.
Is the tabletop grain matched?
Yes, we strive to grain match as best as possible though please note that every piece of wood is unique and therefore uniformity is not guaranteed.
How thick is the tabletop?
The tabletop and legs are 1.5" thick
Is the wood kiln dried?
Yes the wood in all of our furniture, including custom console tables, is kiln dried
Maintenance
How do I clean spills?
Wipe up spills with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners—use mild soap and water if needed.
Can the table be refinished?
Yes the finish we use (Rubio Monocoat) is intended to make any repairs simple: lightly sand and reapply oil to worn areas if needed
How heat resistant is the table top?
Moderately heat resistant, but not heatproof. We advise using trivets or pads for hot dishes.
Can the table be in direct sunlight?
Constant direct sun exposure will change the colour of the wood but not the integrity of the table itself.
